Banff & Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada ~
Feb 25 - March 5, 2017

Our club trip to Canada has been canceled due to lack of participation. We invite anyone who is interested to travel with our good friends at Tampa Bay Snow Skiers and Boarders. Visit their website: for all of the information about their offering. They have experienced trip leaders who will take good care of our members using reciprocity to travel with their club as a benefit of being Sarasota members.

Niseko and Tokyo, Japan ~ March 10 - 18, 2017

Kon'nichiwa -- We're going up, up and away to the site of another Winter Olympics, this time back in Japan! The Hokkaido region on the north island is home to Niseko where we'll enjoy ski-in/ski-out accommodations at the Niseko Hilton Village Hotel. Expect convenience and exceptional service! Getting an average snowfall of 66 feet, skiers will appreciate fine Japanese grooming techniques. Non-skiers will be offered daily excursions to nearby attractions including Sapporo and Otaru as well as typical snow-related activities like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Cooking classes can also be arranged. Continue the Japanese experience during a 2 night stay in Tokyo. From there you can choose to return to the USA or go on the extension to Thailand for 5 nights. Perfect plans have been made to make the most of our time there, from Bangkok to Chang Mai. See the proposed itinerary on the Japan trip page. So long as you're going that far, plan to go on the optional pre-trip extension to the capital city of Kyoto before going to Niseko. This will be a traveler's adventure of a lifetime!
